An inmate was found dead inside his prison cell in Maryland, and now state police believe the man’s cellmate may have been involved. Christopher White, 33, was pronounced dead after he was discovered unresponsive inside a cell at Western Correctional Institution in Allegany County, according to Maryland State Police. Investigators say White’s cellmate was inside the cell at the time of his death and has since been identified as a suspect. A historic Maryland church suffered catastrophic damage after flames ripped through the building in Carroll County, sending heavy smoke pouring into the sky for more than an hour. A body of a dead man was recovered from Cape May Canal on Tuesday, April 14, authorities said. At 5:59 p.m., troopers responded to a report of a recovered body in the canal in Lower Township, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State police said.
