Body Recovered From Cape May Canal: Njsp A body of a dead man was recovered from Cape May Canal on Tuesday, April 14, authorities said. At 5:59 p.m.,  troopers responded to a report of a recovered body in the canal in Lower Township, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State police said. Upon their arrival, the body of a dead man was recovered, Lebron said. The investigation is ongoing, Lebron said.
