A Pennsylvania mother of two is being remembered for her kindness, strength, and devotion to her children as loved ones rally around her family following a fatal shooting.
Keshia M. Gonzalez, 37, was killed inside her apartment in the first block of North Main Street in Manheim Borough on Monday morning, June 1, according to investigators.
A fundraiser created with her family's permission had raised more than $2,700 toward an $8,000 goal as of Tuesday morning to support Gonzalez's two sons, her mother, funeral expenses, and other immediate needs.

A police officer was killed while responding to an emergency call Friday, May 29, after her patrol vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
Central Berks Police Officer Kristen Yeager, 42, a married mom of three from Boyertown, was responding with emergency lights and sirens activated when the crash occurred on West Philadelphia Avenue near Manatawny Road in Earl Township, state police said.
