Man Indicted For Crash That Seriously Injured 18-Month-Old Child In Suffolk County
A North Amityville man has been charged in a 15-count indictment for allegedly leaving the scene of a crash in Mastic Beach that critically injured a toddler and caused injuries to four others. On March 20, Ronald Hubbard, 45, was driving his Nissan Altima west on Neighborhood Road in Mastic Beach when a Suffolk County Police officer spotted that he didn’t have a front license plate, Suffolk County District Attorney Timothy Sini said. Have you seen him? The Suffolk County Crime Stoppers have issued a $5,000 cash reward for information that leads to the arrest of a man caught on camera using a stolen debit card in Mastic Beach and Shirley earlier this year. Police said that they are attempting to track down the man - who was spotted in a dark hooded sweatshirt - used the stolen card at WAH Mini Mart on Madison Street in Mastic Beach at approximately 5:45 p.m. on Feb. 7.
