Arsonist Sentenced After 7 Hospitalized, 31 Displaced, 6 Allentown Homes Damaged
An Allentown man who set a fire during a domestic dispute, displacing more than 30 people and injuring residents and firefighters, has been sentenced to decades in state prison, authorities announced Wednesday, Feb. 11.
Santos Mota-Ramirez, 61, pleaded guilty to two counts of Criminal Attempted Homicide, Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Simple Assault, Arson, and Causing a Catastrophe, according to the Lehigh County District Attorney’s Office.
