A 44-year-old daycare employee has been arrested and charged after allegedly assaulting a child at a daycare in Bergen County, authorities said.
Seunghee Nam, an Englewood resident and teacher at the Palisades Park daycare, assaulted a child at the daycare center on Thursday, March 12, leaving the child with serious injuries, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said.
The New Jersey Division of Child Protection and Permanency contacted the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit on Sunday, March 22, regarding the assault, the prosecutor said.
