Two employees are hospitalized following a hit-and-run crash outside a Long Island school. The incident happened at around 8:30 a.m. Monday, June 24, in the parking lot of Eastern Suffolk BOCES in North Bellport, located on Martha Avenue. Driver, 38, Killed After Hitting Landscaping Stone, Tree In South Jersey Crash
A 38-year-old Williamstown man died in a Franklin Township crash late Saturday, March 2, local police said. Robert Lafferty III's Kia Optima veered off the 3500 block of West Malaga Road into the oncoming lane of traffic before hitting a landscaping stone, several mailboxes and a tree before coming to rest, local police said. Lafferty was hospitalized where he was pronounced dead while his 41-year-old male passenger suffered a possible broken wrist, police said. The crash remains under investigation.

Car Crash, Ejection Kills 26-Year-Old Man In Eastern PA, Police Say
A 26-year-old man was ejected from his vehicle in a deadly crash on Thursday, authorities told Daily Voice on Monday. The victim was driving along the 500 block of Basket Road when he crashed and was propelled from his vehicle, authorities in Rucombmanor said. The fatal crash happened around 11:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 24. Police did not name the victim. Chief Dale Ulshafer said detectives are still investigating what led to the accident.
